Pattern Notes:

Morgan’s Flower Garden is a sweet but sassy jacket for sweet but sassy little girls. It features intarsia tulips on the right front and left sleeve cuff, along with a seed stitch collar and zipper cover to keep a neat, trim look. Clean lines are supported by hemmed facings and a little detail embroidery on the flowers.

I have sized the sweater to fit 1 (2, 4, 6) year-old girls, with bust measuring 22 (25, 27, 29)”. You will need one set of needles in a size to get gauge, and another two sizes below the main size. Special techniques include intarsia for the actual flowers and (very) simple embroidery for the tulip stems. The pattern includes detailed intarsia charts and plenty of advice on how to put in the zipper, since I know many knitters find the thought daunting (hint: you shouldn’t!).
