  • Tomorrow, April 12, Knitty City. Meet and greet, sample show, book signing. 4-6pm. Stop by, I’d love to see you!
  • Saturday, April 13, Big Apple Knitters’ Guild. Lecture, sample show, and book signing. Meeting is from 12:15 – 3:15 and I’ll be speaking starting at around 1pm. I’ll have books available there for purchase at a discounted price of $19.95, so please join us!

Can’t wait to see some of you there! I’m bringing, as usual, a ridiculous amount of knitting. Some new:

  1. Have a blast at La Grande Pomme!

  2. New York doesn´t happen to be anywhere near Europe, does it? Have a very good time. And yes, this is an amazing pile of handknit nearly finished. I think I have to go knitting rigth now!

  3. Amy-I have already received your book and read it cover to cover. I loved you measuring advice! I have never tried a sweater in “pieces” for myself, but look forward to knitting the “Draper Cardigan”. I have only made 2 adult sweaters since I started knitting, and the last one I finished 2 months ago took me 3 years to complete. I struggled with getting stalled on picking up the front edges, or collar, and would put it aside. I think having your book to guide excellent fit, and the right style will help me get excited to finish my sweater. Who wants to spend so much money on yarn, and then be unhappy with the results? I feel the “homemade sweater fear” is at an end in my life. Thanks for what you have contributed to the knitting universe. Stephanie P.S. I hope you will give summer sweater ideas in your blog this summer.

  4. Sounds like an excellent trip! I just heard a great review of your book on the Knitmore Girls podcast. I’m eager to check it out!

  5. Whoops, meant the Knit Knit Cafe on that comment. Getting my podcasts mixed up!
