CustomFit offers four lengths for sweaters: Short, average, long, and tunic. They are available for all sweater constructions.
The actual lengths are defined by the measurement set selected. For ease purposes, CustomFit assumes that
- Short sweaters don’t reach the mid-point of the hip;
- Average sweaters reach the mid-point of the hip but don’t reach the crotch;
- Long sweaters reach the crotch but do not extend below the bum;
- Tunic sweaters extend below the bum even on the back.
Longer sweaters have more ease through the hip than shorter sweaters to allow a full range of motion. Here is a visual of the different lengths:
