Finished bust: 30 (32, 34 1/2, 36 1/2, 38, 40, 42 1/2, 46, 50 1/2, 54)” [76 (81.5, 87.5, 92.5, 96.5, 101.5, 108, 117, 128.5, 137) cm]

Featured materials: Swans Island Worsted, shown in color Early Thyme

Gauge: 18 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette Stitch

Description: The front of this preppie cardigan is kept plain with applied I-Cord, and the hook-and-eye tape closure allows the cardigan to be flattering even when worn with negative ease. The cardi can be worn in many ways – closed at the top, middle, bottom, or any combination – and waist shaping keeps the fit slim.

Designed for: Bottom-heavy shapes

Modification ideas: Remember, you look best in clothes you love. That said, to keep in line with the Fit to Flatter system, Proportional shapes might consider lengthening the sweater body and/or sleeves. Top-heavy knitters might consider lengthening both, and perhaps blocking the collar a bit folded to create a narrower line.
