Tremont Street Tam

$6.00

Tremont Street is a casual, artistic beret/slouch (depending on how you block it). Worked in a gorgeous bright color, this cheerful tam will keep you stylish and warm all winter long. (Use a wool-silk blend like I did, and your hands will be as happy as your head!)

This hat is written in 3 sizes and a DK gauge; it uses just over 200 yards of yarn. The PDF is available for immediate download after purchase.

Description

We all need a bit of sunshine in the winter – and this quick little hat fits the bill. Worked in a combination of lacy cables against a background of reverse stockinette, it’s interesting (and pretty) knitting. The cables diminish to form the brim’s shaping, and it can be blocked into either a beret shape or left slouchy.
